Our Learning Framework

Here For You

Kinderstori interprets the general guidelines of development milestones and translates them into our learning framework- the core of our curriculum program. We focus on three main areas and these areas overlap each other in an inter-disciplinary form just like a Venn diagram.

NURSERY PLAYGROUP

(recommended for 18mo to 3yo)

Monday - Friday

9:30am to 11:30am

For 18 months to 4 years old

A daily weekday program suitable for first-time school goers. Our welcoming and non-intimidating environment and school program helps to ease young children into the school routine. Our emergent curriculum based on Reggio Emilia philosophy allows children and teachers to work hand in hand together as we explore, experiment, investigate.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN PLAYGROUP

(recommended for 3.5 yo above)

Monday - Friday

9am to 11am

For 18 months to 4 years old

The children will have the opportunity to work and explore more deeply on their current project, extending their learning and deepening their knowledge on the topic of interest. Teachers work hand in hand with the children, broadening their learning experiences by supplementing the classroom resources with appropriate materials and curriculum. A higher level of in-depth discussion will take place each morning after their project exploration to refine project ideas, clarify questions, introduce new concepts and brainstorm hypotheses. During this process, decision making and  problem solving skills are in practice.  There is an option to attend our currated supplemented learning program each day which covers English Phonics, Fun with Chinese and Creative Mixed Medium Art.
